The project of writting actions in with our flash movies is somewhat frustrating. Applying old elements in a new way helps realize the potential of images, where as before we were limited in what we could accomplish.
I think the strength of this animation--despite its flaws--is that it's very engaging: there are many different animations/movies that are going on at once that draw the viewer in; I'm sure it's a bitch to debug and refine all of that, however... Obviously, some of the animation could be smoother--such as the mask that wipes over Lincoln's head: I think that could refined to where it's not so obvious, and perhaps slowed down... Also, I'm not sure if the animation should start on a rollover: I don't know about other viewers, but I generally don't like an animation to start until I've actually clicked on it--it gives me a chance to get ready for what's coming...
I love the Abe Lincoln look man; I think that you could push the use of this graphic further. (I.e. revel the symptoms of plossy jaw on his jaw). You seem to really understand how to control a movie clip, this clip is interesting visually but hard to read. If it is important for your viewer to read all that text than it should be slowed down. If it the legibility of the text were not important, I would ask what is the purpose of using it at all? I don't see any huge technical problems with this clip. If you were to change anything I think that it would be your viewers interactivity.
